OK so the plot to this film is very simple. Farrell’s mom marries Reilly’s dad so the two wind up living together. Both are in their 40’s and still behave like 10 year olds. They fight then they make friends with eachother then they fight some more. It’s pretty funny actually if you can let yourself go and believe that people like this really do exist without the help of marijuana. (Ha, what a good pun on that commercial about the 30 year old living in the basement because he smoked pot.)
So yeah, typical humor from the duo. They basically cause trouble for the entire family by being lazy and not wanting to do anything with their lives. There is some good character development but for the most part the film is pretty straight forward and is pretty much what you would expect from the two. They make you laugh and you don’t have to think.

I watched “Other Guys”" on Saturday and I’ve got to say I thought it was really damn hilarious. I flick. Mark Wahlberg is totally dry and Ferrell is nuts so they are the perfect team.
