No More Sports for Ferrell

Will Ferrell announced while playing golf that after such sports films like “Kicking and Screaming”, “Talledega Nights”, “Blades of Glory”, and this years “Semi Pro”, he will not do any more sports flicks. He says that he has “filled his quota” on the genre. I’ve only seen “Talledega Nights” and “Blades of Glory” and I thought both were pretty funny movies. I think this is a smart move for Ferrell so he wont become typecast in these roles. How many stupid sports movies can one comedian do. Mix it up a little and see what happens. He did however star in a more serious role in “Stranger than Fiction” in between all of those movies, and this summers “Step Brothers” was funnier than all four of those movies put together. Next summer Ferrell stars in the adaptation of “Land of the Lost”, so we shall see where his career turns from there.
